Day 1 of 2015 will be at the the Outstanding Formby Golf Club. This is truly one of the finest courses in the British isles and will be a fantastic start to the week.
1984's Amateur Championship final was an epic battle between two of the best golfers in the world, Jose Maria Olazabal and Colin Montgomerie. Olazabal won 5&4
The 2009 Amateur Championship, Formby's fourth, was special for the emergence of 16 year old Matteo Manassero as a world star when he defeated Sam Huxby 4&3 in the final.
